The present revealed by the past

Retro Report on PBS is produced by the award-winning team of journalists at Retro Report, who are dedicated to uncovering how news of the past continues to resonate today. Journalists Celeste Headlee and Masud Olufani as they connect the present to the past through four distinct and varied stories, and New Yorker humorist Andy Borowitz adds his signature wit.

From the project’s conception, Stack worked with Retro Report to help extend their digital format into a one-hour, magazine-format documentary series ready for PBS primetime. We designed graphics, sets (with designer Dario Gimenez), the show package and title sequence. We also directed and produced the show’s host segments, and helped oversee the show’s finishing.
