A quiet walk in the woods

Portland-based boot company Danner knows that not every hike can be to the tippy-top of Kilimanjaro. So they make rugged, hand-crafted boots that are as suited for a casual day hike as they are for a thirty-mile trek. Because they understand that hiking isn’t about the climb; it’s about stepping outside of your everyday world. 

To create a brand film that captured the visceral experience of hiking, we let the sounds of the woods do all the talking. Subjective sound design is punctuated with silent moments of contemplation. Produced and edited by Stack.
